Speakers Sabino Cortez and Will Winter will address the art and science of composting, compost tea application, inexpensive soil building, dung beetle restoration and natural herd health livestock protocol. The workshop includes presentations, hands-on demonstrations, a pasture walk and a delicious lunch of pastured pork, ham and other local, naturally produced food. (Vegetarian meals are available upon request.)
All individuals who are farming, raising a garden or just want to learn about economical and alternative methods for garden, crop, and livestock production will benefit from attending this cutting-edge workshop.
The workshop location is Grassway Organic Farm Store, located at N600 Plymouth Trail, New Holstein, WI (take Hwy 57 to New Holstein, then 2.5 miles south on Plymouth Trail). The workshop costs $100 for adults (all inclusive for the entire day); spouses $50; children under 16 free.
