F.H. King Growing Season Kick-off
It’s that time of the year! Make your way out to the F.H. King Student Farm to celebrate the start of the growing season on May Day!
We’ll start with a garden work party at 3:30pm and begin celebrating the spring growing season at 5:00pm.
Come prepared to dance around the Maypole in celebration of May Day. The local bluegrass band SORTIN’ THE MAIL will provide the tunes, and we will provide an array of DELICIOUS FOOD to fuel your spring spirit. We ask that you bring a dish to share for a POTLUCK, but of course if you’re short on time or budget and can’t bring anything there will be plenty of food to go around.
We’ll have some dishware, but to minimize waste we hope you’ll bring some of your own. Whether you’re new to F.H. King or an active participant, we hope to see you there!
*Please note, attending the work party and bringing a potluck item are not required to attend the event.
