Aronia Field Day at Carandale Farm
Join us for a very informative and interactive Aronia Field Day on August 22. This educational meeting is for the sharing and exchange of information regarding the economic, environmental and social benefits of aronia. The morning session will be devoted to production issues. The afternoon session will concentrate on product development, promotion, marketing and nutrition.
This meeting is being sponsored in part by Hilltop Community Farm.
Morning coffee and a catered lunch featuring aronia products will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring and share aronia products they have test marketed and/or have experimented with.

Directions to Carandale Farm
From the West (Dubuque): Take Hwy 151 east. Exit at the County Hwy/M exit (2nd Verona exit)-turn right onto PB. At 4-way stop, turn Left onto Cty Hwy M. Go approx 8 miles, and at the 4-way stop, turn Right onto Fish Hatchery Rd. Drive 2.5 miles, to the very end of Fish Hatchery. At the T intersection, turn Right onto Lincoln Rd., and follow the field day signs.
From the North, East and South (I-39/90/94): Take the 12/18/151 Hwy exit (also known as the Beltline, west approx 6 miles to the Hwy D/Fish Hatchery Rd. Exit. Turn left at the top of the ramp and head south. Stay on Fish Hatchery Rd., all the way to the very end (8.5 miles from the beltline) until you come to a T intersection. Turn Right onto Lincoln Rd. and follow the field day signs.
