CIAS is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2014, and we’re throwing a celebratory barn dance at Schuster’s Farm in Deerfield on June 27. We hope that past and present friends of CIAS, and everyone who supports sustainable food and farms, will join us for this memorable evening.

Thirsty Roots will play toe-tapping barn dance music, including both traditional and original tunes. Roger Diggle will call the dances. In addition to dancing, the evening will feature refreshments, a silent auction (scroll down for a list of the fabulous items donated for our auction) and the beauty of our host farm.

The event will take place from 7:00-10:30pm; dancing starts at 7:30pm. Tickets cost $15 at the door. Kids’ tickets (ages 5-12) cost $5, and children under 5 attend for free. Advance ticket sales are now closed. We can not accept credit cards at the dance.

All proceeds from this barn dance will benefit CIAS research, outreach and education on sustainable agriculture, and will ultimately further our vision of sustainable farms and food systems that contribute to ecological, economic and social well-being.
