Ben Lind started a rotationally grazed beef operation 4 years ago. He fenced 35 acres, added summer and winter watering facilities and is working on a low cost handling facility. Being new to raising cattle, he is learning everything from the ground up. Topics will include: causes and prevention of dystocia, calving time, breeding, handling facilities and more. This will be an interactive farmer to farmer meeting where you can get information on keeping calves alive.
