Wisconsin Farmers Union, working in partnership with Midwest organizations, will convene the Midwest CSA Conference, December 7-8 at the Chula Vista Resort.

The continued growth of the CSA movement in the Midwest creates both opportunities and complexities. The conference will provide a forum for CSA farmers and advocates to come together for deliberative discussion and peer-to-peer learning. Full-group sessions will discuss shared values of the movement and strategies for promoting cooperation and shared risk among farms and communities.

A set of workshop tracks, each with four workshops, will provide hands-on and peer-to-peer learning for CSA farmers in the areas of: Beginning CSA Farming, Production and Logistics, Building Community, and Financial Management and Business Planning.
