Silvopasture Workshop
UW-Extension, UMN-Extension, and the Savanna Institute will jointly host a silvopasture workshop near Luck, Wisconsin, about 70 miles northeast of Minneapolis and 95 miles northwest of Eau Claire.
The workshop will begin Friday evening, July 29th, with dinner, a presentation and a networking session.
The workshop will continue Saturday morning, July 30th, with presentations on silvopasture establishment and management. Saturday afternoon will feature visits to two farms practicing silvopasture.
Participants can camp overnight at a farm or stay in a nearby hotel. Participants are also welcome to just come for the Saturday portion of the workshop.
Details about registration, lodging options and speakers are coming in June. We expect the registration cost will be below $50, with support provided by North Central SARE and possibly other sponsors.
